- Never shared with third parties without your explicit consent
- Can be deleted at any time from within the App

Third-Party Services

AI and Speech Analysis Services
- OpenAI: We use OpenAI's APIs to perform conversation analysis, generate insights, and provide recommendations. Audio transcripts and text data are sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI processes this data according to their API data usage policies and does not use API data to train their models. For more information, see OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- Hume AI: We use Hume AI for advanced emotional intelligence analysis and speech emotion recognition. Audio recordings may be sent to Hume AI for processing emotional tone, vocal patterns, and sentiment analysis. Hume AI processes data in accordance with their privacy policy. - Speech Recognition Services: We may use Apple's Speech Recognition framework or similar services to transcribe audio into text. This processing may occur on-device or via Apple's servers depending on your device settings.
Cloud Infrastructure and Storage
- Cloud Storage: Audio recordings and analysis data may be stored using secure cloud services (such as AWS, Google Cloud, or iCloud). All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
- Database Services: We use secure database services to store user accounts, preferences, and conversation history.
Analytics and Performance Monitoring
- Analytics Services: We may use analytics services (such as Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar) to understand how users interact with the App, identify bugs, and improve performance. These services collect anonymized usage data.
- Crash Reporting: We use crash reporting tools to identify and fix technical issues. These tools may collect device information and error logs.
Payment Processing (if applicable)
- In-App Purchases: All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Payment processing is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

- Your Responsibility: You must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding recording
ClarityTalk is not responsible for your compliance with recording laws. We strongly recommend obtaining explicit consent from all parties before recording any conversation. Unauthorized recording may result in civil or criminal penalties.
Sensitive Data
Conversations may contain sensitive personal information including:
- Health information
- Financial information
- Personal relationships and family matters
- Employment information
- Other confidential or sensitive topics
We treat all conversation data with the highest level of security and confidentiality. However, we recommend being mindful of discussing highly sensitive information and considering whether recording is appropriate for such conversations.
